A predatory reader is a reader who reads from the top of the food chain according to Hjortshoj. You should be able to read, for example, like you always write. Stay on top of your reading texts and don't encourage the writers to compose their arguments as secondary reasons. Some read techniques for predators involve knowing a particular thing, and being able to format it. Five aspects of the writing process described by Hjortshoj are pre-writing or preparing, drafting, revising or rewriting, editing or proofreading and printing. Once you know what you want to say, the job is easy and the stakes and expectations for the product are small, it is appropriate to complete writing in one draft.
